Designer Photo shoot...

Here are my edited imaging and styling images....the theme and narrative for this shoot is a Psychotic  woman who has escaped from an asylum and is running loose in and around someone's house. She is crazy but beautiful. I wanted to create an almost ghostly atmosphere, as if she's possessed.  I hope you like :D xx

Well well well...

It's been a very busy time for me, with my Imaging and Styling Photo shoot last week (images to come soon!) my Environment presentation due in this week and my report due in too (!) I feel very stretched but it's all worth the hard work....Plus I have my doctor <3

Happy Mother's day!

As you know it's mothers day, and here is a poem about my mummy, enjoy :D

My mum, my mum, what can I say
My mum is great in every way
She cleans, she cooks, she works so hard
She deserves much more than a present and card
She looks after me, Chelsea and Ollie 24/7
A place for her is reserved in heaven

She's my best friend, who I tell everything to
Without her, I wouldn't have a clue
I am very lucky to have a mum like her
A mum like her will never again occur
I hope one day I can be just as cool
Or cry as much when I drop my kids off at school

I'm very sad to leave home so soon
But she's let me go like a red balloon
She's taught me well, to live on my own
But making sure I'm never alone
She really is an amazing mum, and has been from the start
And I mean this from the bottom of my heart

Love you Mummy <3 xx

Italia Darling!

Recently I went to Italy for a University trip- to Milan and Florence more specifically. Now honestly, Milan (minus the Italian) could have been any city really. But Florence, was incredible. I loved the Duomo (cathedral) in both Milan and Florence, they were both spectacular inside and out. The architecture was breath taking, as well as the view on top of the cathedral in Florence. I saw so many sights, for example 10 Corso Como, the shop created by ex Italian Vogue Editor Carla Sozzani, which to be quite frank made me feel incredibly poor (which I was compared to the people who were shopping in there), and completely un-fashionable (I didn't dress for fashion on that trip, but for warmth and comfort). But anyway, I'm rambling: I loved looking around the high street around rich Milan (I'm talking Chanel, Dior- the works) and the quaint markets in Florence- I bought the most GORGEOUS carnival mask for my sister (aren't I lovely) and various other bits and pieces, including Italian Vogue (which I couldn't read but I  just had to get), a real leather bag for my mum's birthday, a ring, a leather book for my Grandad, a Pinocchio toy for my Grandmum, a t-shirt for my dad, my boyfriend, my sister and my brother, as well as a little yellow toy smart car for my little brother. I went to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence (which was amazing, but unfortunately I had a horrific cold and wasn't able to completely appreciate it) to see the famous painting of the birth of Venus painted by Sandro Botticelli-as well as another gallery in Milan which also had many beautiful
Renaissance paintings in it.

The Alps!

The plane on the way there!

My Historical Styling Shoot (Part two-the shoot!)

Overall, I feel the shoot went very well, the mystery and intrigue of the dark backdrop was a great contrast to the open, fun and abstract atmosphere created by the white backdrop. Chelsea was a complete professional and my tutor Karl was extremely impressed by her transformation, my styling and customising and also my camera skills! Mission accomplished!
